They touched and moved around evidence. They failed to properly test hair, blood, skin and fiber samples found at the scene. Why wouldn't you test evidence like that? The evidence that they did test was left out of the reports if it supported MacDonald's theory. They also completely ignored witness statements and admissions of people who stated that they were directly involved! He is right handed and the killer was left handed. The governement would not let the defense get any evidence from the house days before the trial, and the doctors changed their minds about his puncture wounds to the chest during the trial.
